After being named the Official Photographer of the Oklahoma Centennial by the Centennial Commission, Mike Klemme traveled our state for two years capturing the rich spirit of Oklahoma through an inspiring, engaging and emotional photographic collection of the people, places, culture and activities that make our state truly unique.

All the images were photographed using available light only and are not staged. Time and patience waiting for the perfect light is an integral part of achieving these types of images. My preference is to record the image as is, without “manufacturing” anything.
